Who wants to help me ID my new fish?

The store had them labelled as MUDA Piranha because that is what the importation papers said. $34.99 Canadian.
I think it was a great price for what I'm 98% sure is an Eigenmanni.

Or any other opinions?
This is the best shot I could get of him so far. He's a little shy.

This is the best shot I could get so far.
Once I'm home I'll try to get a good shot from the side.

Tail has a black band at the base and there's a faint humeral spot.
Other than that, the orange/red that you can see and very little spotting.
For such a small fish, I was surprised they had such a high back though.

I think he's my new favourite!

might be eigenmanni, humeral spot is usually pretty defined though. Try and get a better pic and it will help

I finally got a chance to snap a profile of this guy today.

He's pretty quiet and is spending most of his time underneath some rocks, but I'm sure he'll be alright in a few days.
