Who will eat clown loaches?

I got a bunch of clown loaches I want to move to my 55 gallon. Currently this tank has 5 polypterus ranging from 8"-15", and 2 small scomb payara. I don't think the scombs are trouble, but the polys could be. Don't clown loaches have a spine in the dorsal fin to prevent predators from eating them?

Your Polys could choke to death on those loaches.

Clown loaches have spines under their eyes that could make short work of most fish's intestines.

I had a a 6 inch Lima I think or 8 inch eat off two small clown loaches. Basically pulled a suicide bomber act. Killed himself.

I had a 14 inch lmb eat a clown loach that was a good 5 inchs or so I didnt even know it was in the tank, I was moving around some of my drift wood from pond to tank and had a hitchhiker in one of the peices. Well any way one night was going to turn the lights off for the night i see the head of a clown loach in my bass's mouth. so anything is possible some fish have the nack for eating something they shouldnt be able to.
