Who will take over my tank-JD, Nics, Salvini, FM's

I have a 4' 90G tank with a new CA lake setup with lots of cobblestones and driftwood with a sand bottom

5" salvini
6" Jack Dempsey
2 5" Firemouths
A breeding pair of Nicaraguensis about 7" and 5"

Who will take over the tank? The nics were just added? So far not too much aggression. The salvini appears to be the baddest right now. However the nics can turn him around and so can the Jack. The FM's have to act in a pair against the sal or JD. The male nic is the largest but seems prettly mellow
 
Nics can be brutal, expecially when breeding. Personally, I'd take out everything but them and the Firemouths - provided they leave them alone.

Is that your Nic in your avatar? I'd love to see a FTS if you've got one.
 
it all depends on indviduals really,i had a salvini female that was pretty mellow but have spoken to people who have had homicidal males ! the JD may turn out to be the boss or it may not,the nicas aren't normally that combative for long
 
I love to see pic of the pair and I hope they spawn for you.
 
actually the Jack ended up takin over the tank. I may have to move the Nics. Nics were chasing JD and Sev then the JD and Sev formed an alliance and it looks like the Nics will have to be moved. I rearranged the tank and maybe that will work
