I have some really nice SA Cichlids in my 75g 4x2x2 tank but they are starting to reach the size where aggression is becoming a problem and i am running the risk of losing fish to said aggression. My Vieja (7 inch) is the primary aggressor and is clearly the dominant fish in the tank. He is picking apart my Midas cichlid (6 inch) to the point where he doesn't fight back. There is a jack Dempsey (5 inch) in there also who I adopted and don't care much for. Also, I have a nice bleekeri (4 inch) who I would like to keep...IF YOU COULD ONLY HAVE 1 FISH IN THIS TANK WHO WOULD YOU PICK AND WHY! I can't keep them all in the same tank much longer :(20151205_164724.jpg 20151205_164655.jpg 20151205_163446.jpg 20151205_163459.jpg 20150917_212333.jpg 20150825_224943-1.jpg

What about the festae?
If you're hoping we will help you choose, it sounds like you've already chosen.
I would probably keep the paratilapia or the argentea.
They all look like really good fish though.

I lost the festae a few weeks ago unfortunately to aggression. Not sure who the culprit was. If you could have 1 of these fish and get to see it reach its full size in a healthy environment, which would you chose? I guess that's what I'm asking.

Personally I think the Argentea will be tight, a friend of mine has a 15 inch male, doable but tight.
If you want 1 fish the midas will likely be the most fun once he grows, polleni are cool too though so I'm guessing bleekeri would be very similar and like an oscar as my polleni was...
I would do midas, the jd is a female so could probably stay with the midas if it's male.

I would easily keep the paratilapia over the others, ideal tank size; beautiful fish, plus you seem to like it the best.

Easy

Hands down the argentea...stunning fish.

I'd keep the argentea for sure. If not him, then the Midas.
