Whoa! This gave me a scare!

I went to feed my fish today and noticed one of my orinos didnt come out as usual. I found him hiding and all stressed looking. Then I noticed he ad a huge sting ray stinger lodged in his lip!

I got it out with some tweezers.

Do you guys think he actually got stung? Or did he get stuck by a shed off stinger? Sorry for the crappy photos.

I don't think a mac will be any different when it comes to not knowing how to post photos haha, sorry. No idea whats going on with him just give him some time to relax and i'm sure he'll recover beautifully.

Thats a really awkward way to be stung if he was because it looks like he was stung from inside the mouth out through the bottom of the lip. I would say it was a broken off barb that he thought looked like a nice thin fish or something. Even if he was stung direct I don't think you will loose him. He wasn't stung in a high blood flow area anyway (unless the barb hit his gill area?), of course he will be stressed, it's like having a skewer go through your cheek.
