I was able to get a couple good pics of the tank tonight with all the room lights off, so no reflections. Need to get some more snails to take care of the light algae buildup on the glass though (also, I had just fed them a short while before, so their is some particulates in the water. Managed to snap one of the Tire Track poking her head out of one of her spots, as well as a smaller convict that I think laid some eggs on the driftwood she is under :) (fingers crossed!)

You can see the "fury" of aeration from the SunSun in the middle.

Interesting. What size tank?

that's a lot of fish! very tightly stocked imo

Ultimately aquascape comes down to a personal preference and if you are happy with it it's your tank. I am in no way an expert.
But If I could make a suggestion. You have some fish that like to swim and prefer some open areas. If you were to take some of the decorations out and have some more open areas it would help to accommodate those.
Also if you will use similar materials throughout the scape it would look more unified and less cluttered.
Use the same type of rock or similar stones. You could also make a driftwood stack to one side and have smaller stones scattered around the wood then go to the others side and place a few big stones with similar color or makeup as the smaller ones you used on the other side to bind the whole design together, leaving an open area in the middle and toward the top. If you were to do this you would be impressed at how much better the angles would look swimming above as well as giving plenty of hiding places and an open area for the bala to cruse around.
Again, this is just a suggestion. im not trying to be rude.

There is also quite a mix of fish you have in this tank. You may want to think about angles with some of these. It may not work long term.

No I appreciate the opinions! I have it the way it is now to help weigh down the driftwood - it took over a week in the tub just to get to it partially submerge. I also want to re-position ii eventually, but only when it's been waterlogged for a few months (the current back of it is MUCH more visually interesting than the front facing side). Fortuantely, i have no aggression issues, aside from the one large Convict. The 2 Balas are fast out-growing the tank (when I got them, I did not realize that they could reach 14"!). I'll be trading them into my LFP ina couple of months ;) Probably the same with the large Convict, as he is much more territorial than the rest of the Convicts.

Hey BIG-G! The Angels are actually doing quite well, fins are fanning out much better than when I first got them. And agreed, it is an unusual mix, but it seems to work.

the tiretrack will grow too, I wouldn't be comfortable with that many fish but that's just me

In my opinion it's very messy and cluttered scape wise, Try and make the corners the place for rocks and wood then leave an open area up top for swimming.

Yes, I've had Tire Tracks before :) All opinions and suggestions are welcome :) As I said, in a few months time, I will be doing some new aquascaping. I might even end up moving the tank, but that's a decision yet to be made (it was a big enough hassle when I switched from my old 90gal to this one).
