Wholesaler's Lists

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Generally, you have to be a registered business and work a deal to buy wholesale from them.

You can access Segrest and 5dees on the net, but they won't sell you anything, unless you have a resale number.

And I've been kicked out of more fishfarms here in Central Florida than I can count :)

Lol why were you thrown out of those places?

They might not sell you it but many places post their stock online. Many fish stores will show you their ordering list. Here is a link to Segrest and ORAs stock. I doubt have everything in stock which they list, but they might.

They definitely don't have it all in stock. They list Aussie Lungs.

Even as a business, what list they send you might not match 100% what they have at the moment you go to place your order.

As a wholesaler, if you send your list to 200 client stores across the US, you might get lucky and get half of those to place an order in the first 24 hours. By the time the other stores get around to ordering a day later, many of the fish may be sold already. In this industry, money talks. If you have a place that will consistantly order $10,000 at a time on a weekly basis, priority lies with filling that order first so you don't lose that client.

I found out which one my lfs uses, found their website, contacted them pretending to be a business, and now I get mailed their lists every week. Pretty interesting stuff.
