WHOOAAA I FORGOT MBU

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd say it's more up to the individual fish. Some people have no problems at all, others have all sorts. I have one now that works well in one of my community setups, however, it sometimes does nip at a tankmate's tail every now and then.

I wouldn't put one in a 110 gal tank unless you're planning on buying a much larger tank for it. They get over 2 feet long and need very pristine water.

Today I saw a puffer in a cichlid tank - 3 inches, dark olive green with yellowish bands on the back - Is that a Mbu? He was just swimming all by himself ignoring the Cichlids completely.

jsut to help u out. my mbu works in my community.:) more encouragement!!!
but sersiouly.
they are great fish. if u find a mbu that works in a community keep it. ull regret it if u get rid of it. there ncie fish. somewhat active. and looks very nice.

i have a 6-7" mbu that ive had with my cichlids for over 6 months doesnt bother any other them besides my gar once in a while gets a little nip, when hes hungry..

I keep mine with a variety of community fish without incident. That being said I have a khuli loach that recently aquired a suspiciously pufferesque wound.
