Ok. So. In one tank I have a jardini, a sailfin pleco, a paroon shark, and a channel cat, all around the same size.

They all have damage on their tails and bite marks on their bodies..except the pleco.

Any idea on who's starting the fights? I'm assuming it only happens at night time because I never see any aggression amongst them during the daytime.

Don't count the Pleco out... We have one that used to go after the Pbass after the lights went out. We had to move him/her to another tank to restore the peace.

I'm thinking it's the pleco too...because I have moved him to that tank for being aggressive to my other pleco in another tank.......
If that was the case, what would be a good tank mate for an aggressive pleco?

The jardini has the most damage out of all of them

i think its the pleco
my 7" sail fin pleco used to wreak havoc on the 2x RTCs as well as the TSNs:screwy::screwy:
didn't wait for him to start one with the jar though
moved him with the chiclids where he never gets a chance
but now he doesn't show off his sail:(:(

good idea...i'll switch him with a smaller sailfin in the cichlid tank...hope it's a good temporary fix until the jar+catfish grow larger.
