I see almost everytime someone posts about getting an RBP its someone with a groupe of juvies. SO I got to wandering who has sub-adults or adult RBPs. I know mine are all around the 6" mark now. I'm getting lazy with picture taking so ill get them up when I get around to it. But who else had ADULTS or sub-adults like myself. you don't see alot of them here. Or at least by the time they get bigger the novelty has wore off and people don't keep them that long.

i'd like to see some pictures of yours, i haven't seen em for awhile... i'm in the process of moving right now so posting pictures isn't an option, but my pygos are a bit over 6", some pushing the 7" mark

lol I knew you were going to hit me up for some new pics lol. yeah ill try to get some before monday. My computer sucks right now so I am uploading pics from my PS3 and they upload as a link instead of just the pic. You have to click the link Ill try to get my computer to do it but i'm not sure.

On a side note I did get them to hand feed this past week. They hand feed a talapia fillet. It was cool

P.S. I still got all 13 Not a death yet. :)

yeah man, you picked up on things pretty quick, i told you from the beginning that you'd end up doing things right and the amount of care that you put in definitely shows when you end up with the success you've had with your first batch of piranhas. i'll be waitin on those pictures tho... haha.

i'm in the middle of a huge move, i downsized and cut my fish collection down by more than half, but i still have twelve tanks to move. i'm going from a one bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house tho, so my setup is gonna be sick. i'll be sure to post pictures when i get settled in.

don't think i didn't notice that massive tank you just picked up... haha, i'm anxious to see what you decide to do with that.

i got 4 at around 5years age with sizes around 9 inches, and 13 of their offsprings at 3years around 7-9inches.will post pics soon.
they dont get boring as they get older, they get more accustomed to you and come to the top when you go near the tank

it's not that the RBPs get borring its that I feel with not very namy people posting about there sub-adult/adult RBPs that the owners may get bored with them before the mature and the novelty of owning a RBP wares off.

I only say this b/c you see tons of pics of people getting juvis but not alot of mature RBPs

I have 11 about the 5" mark. I will get some pic's when my daughter comes home. The lighting sucks, so the pic's will not be great.

I've got 5 from 6" to 10". I'll try to take pics, the 10"er is a monster, but he also gets pushed around.

i have 4 at around 6.5-7inchs but i need to get rid of them cuz they grew out their tank a while ago and i am not gonna be able to ugrade them to a bigger tank so i need to find someone that has a bigger tank and they r about 8-9months old had them since they were dime size its hard to let them go but i gotta take that tank down also so yeah it sucks but this one guy might buy them from me for $50 and put them in a 180gallon all by themselves hope that guy pulls through and takes them
