Bout to get back in hobby . Looking to get some wild caught bichirs . . Whos geting the cool ones been few years since i was in the hobby on the forum

toyin from rehoboth aquatics in texas.

The frustrating thing about Toyin's site is that he doesn't list the prices next to the fish. And many times, you ask for a price of a fish and he says it's out of stock. He seems like he's a great dealer, but I wish he would change that part about his business and put prices on his website.

you shouldnt really complain about that since you know the quality of the fish your going to receive from him will be top quality ;)

toyin has great stocks. getting in touch with him can be kinda hard. his communication is pretty horrible. so i recommend to call then to email. and as someone said he should list price near the name and update his site frequently. but other then that he has nice stocks.

for those complaining about lack of prices on the website, keep in mind he's a wholesaler who also sells to hobbyists online, and the website isn't catered specifically to hobbyists only.

And given that he's a wholesaler with a large number of stock, it'd take way too much time to update every single species with prices for all the different sizes available. It's easy for you to say, but honestly it's easier said than done. It's not like he hires someone to do that for him. Besides, since he doesn't have the time to update the stock list very frequently, and prices change over time, it'd just create problems when new prices aren't reflected on the website.

Toyin has always been pretty decent about sending me prices for the bichirs I'd like to purchase from him. I try and make it easy for him and ask for ALL bichirs I'm interested in at the same time. He's a very busy individual who like stated sells wholesale so at times he doesn't have the bichirs I'd like to get in stock but with anything worth getting it's worth the effort to keep trying periodically.
