a motag or a grammodes i ahve both living seperately in my opinion the grammodes, just curious about other opinions can never have too many
 
one little problem ; i don't care about pike cichlids, theyre sweet and i used to have a xingu I and a black stripe
 
do you really think an orange pike could take a full grown motag granted the fact that the pike does get bigger?
 
Whats this? U want to know more about pikes?! ALRIGHT!! Crenicichla sp. 'atabapo' is probably my fav...followed by Crenicichla lenticulata, Crenicichla marmorata, Crenicichla sp. 'cobra', Crenicichla acutorostris, Crenicichla vittata, and Crenicichla tigrina to name a few! :D WHOP ON ANY CICHLID!! :D

Are you serious?! LOL!! My male xingu III would WHOP on my Jag pair...and my female xingu III would do the same..only less often...my Jags were 14" and 12"...pikes were 12".....;)..i have NO DOUBT!! They would give a dovii hell if they wanted too...lol....
 
wow you sure do l like your pikes that is a little scary, put a full grown dovii against it i'm sure you obviously know what would happen, not that i don't like pike cichlids i think that tainsta doviihey are great, it's just that if they lock jaws with a dovii motag RT the list goes on, things wouldn't be that pretty, i've seen what happens when a black stripe tries his luck against a dovii
 
i have a feeling you and peanut are going to go on about this forever, just to let you know, give up cause peanut wont stop when it comes to a Crenicichla:D
