Whos The Daddy?

Well, my yellow lab is holding. Which means my tank wasnt all males after all. But theyre arent any other yellow labs.

She was in a tank with one of each of the following:
red zebra
bumbleebee
snow white socoloffi
rock krib
red shoulder peacock.

I also have 2 firecracker tropheus (they are way too small to be of breeding size), and 2 clown loaches.

So who do you think the daddy is? Will the eggs even be fertile and hatch and survive or will they die? Moms in a 10 gallon by herself she was getting beat up. Anyone have any success breeding cichlids that arent even remotely the same?

Well, the loaches, tropheus and rock crib are guranteed 110% not the dady.... not being from Malawi and all. The zebra, crabro, and socoloffi are all likley canidates. But more often then not....I've seen Labidochromis cross with Aulnocara species....so the peacock would be where my $ is at.....he has the best chance of being the babby daddy IMO

My guess is Red Zebra. Either way, there's 3 fish very stressed right now pending a DNA test


After the eggs hatch you might find 2 of the 3 pulling something similar to this

well if you ask a student for a portal site you will be able to watch it... They are trusting enough to even tell me the teacher...
