My female convict looked a little dull so I checked her corner and she has a bunch of eggs. I got rid of all male convicts few weeks ago. Only possible male would be my sajica but he is half her size and no where around her. Can it be possibly that she reached maturity and produced eggs ? Or did someone have to get her you know in the mood ? Lol
Other males would be juvie chocolate cichlids or Severums and my parrots are way to small.

Possibly got into breeding mood without male and laid unfertized eggs, or paired up with the Sajica.

Yes I think they are unfrtalized bc the sajica is no where near her or interested in the eggs. I doubt that he just hit it and quit it lol not in the cichlid world I dnt think. She would swim back and forth chasing her reflection maybe she thought it was another convict lol
