Hi,
some days ago a friend of mine and i had a discussion about which of the really big fishes, is the toghest and most aggressive.
The definition of "really big" was at least 3 feet of possible adult lenght!
I know many smaller very very aggressive and togh fishes, mostly snakeheads and perches.
But which is really the the toghest even in relation to it#s size? And i do not mean who is able to eat the biggest prey, because this would be a silurus glanis oder alligator-gar for shure, but they are not really aggressive the most dangerous about them is just their big mouth.
So my favorites are:
Channa Micropeltes
Hoplias Aimara
Hydrocynus Goliath
Bagarius Yarelli
as far as i know the bagarius and hydrocynus are the biggest and heaviest on that list, but the aimara and micropeltes are also really killers, so i'm not shure.
I guess even the really big lates would not be as dangerous, because of the lack of really big teeth...
Greetings
