Whose been bitten by their fish?

My overflow has been running a lot slower lately and I went to check it. There was a bunch of hair caked on the screen. When I went to pull it off one of my large dainos bite me on the hand. Didn't hurt, but it definitely startled me. At least the overflow started flowing like normal again.

Incase anyone asked I didn't have a top for a few days and I have two dogs and two cats. I'm sure a couple hairs had gotten into the tank. It's covered now.
 
My Flower Horn got my finger once took a good chunk off it bled pretty good : )

Yeah been bit my red devil only now healing, he bit a big hole in my hand he bit the back of my hand took a chunk of skin, lots of blood :eek:. I was cleaning his tank and failed to notice him stalking my hand hurt so much.
I'm a paediatric oncology nurse and had to tell all my patients what had happened to my hand, had to wear waterproof occlusive dressing which are clear, to work obviously so you know kids always keen for a gory story.

I've been bitten, stuck, slashed, and stung... lol

My worst bites came from my moray and a big mbu we had in the shop I was working in, I have some gnarly scars from those, but I've also been nipped at by dozens of other less toothy critters. The funniest bite I've ever seen came from a panther grouper I had for a while, my cat who was just a kitten at the time was on top of my tank batting at the water in the overflow, the grouper grabbed her paw and pulled her in. She wasn't hurt but she's been terrified of my tanks ever since.

The sticking... every time you gravelvac an overstocked tank of cichlids you're going to get stuck, no way around it. The worst sticking I got was from my 9" L. maculata, there was much bleeding.

As to the slashing, my sailfin tang is a bastard, goes berserk and goes after everything and anything with his scalpel, he's gotten me a few times while I've been in his tank.

The stinging was the worst, my worst sting came while I was working at the LFS and I was bagging up a coral for a customer, someone in their infinite wisdom set a dwarf lion loose in our coral tank, he'd been hiding behind the coral I was reaching for and I found him with my palm.
 
Yeah been bit a few times... drew blood pretty bad... sometimes takes a while to stop bleeding!!
