recently i have noticed this wierd behavior in my green, while she's swimming she moves her front fins(i call them hands) like she wantes to smash sth behind like when you're angry and bash the table... is it normal?:screwy:

should i worry?

umm... not brushing, she lifts it up slowly then pushes it down fast... my water params are tiptop...

Any parasite spotted on the body? A little dose of garlic juice may help in some parasite issue.

i looked closely but didnt find anything the body looks totally clean... how should i apply the juice if i found any?

how bout adding some salt?

Actually just peel a piece of garlic and squeeze out some juice add directly into the tank will do. Or you can smash a piece of garlic and put it into a filter bag into the tank.

ok tnx koji, by the way here are some pics i took now and i changed the water half an hour ago and she aint doin it now :irked: i guess ill go with some more water changes for a while and a good deep syphoning of the gravel

The green look good. I dun think there's anything wrong with the action.:)

hey tnx, and by the way...since you mentioned garlic, is it good to add its juice or pieces to my aros food? since when i was reading on piranhas i found that it can increase the fishes appetite and also improve its immune system dramatically... and you sure the juice is harmless if added to water?( asking for future problems)

It's fine. I add garlic juice into the tank at times.;)
