Why are asian arowanas illegal?

Just curiuos, why did asian arowanas become illegal? Did they destroy habitats like snakeheads did?

Its not because there venemous if you relived its only in warm states thats because if they are realesed into the water ways they can breed and thow of the ecosystem. Check ur info

Not because they are venomous, but because in the states they are illegal in, the climate would allow them to reproduce if let lose into the ecosystem.
