Whenever someone posts a pic of a giant datnoid or when I search online they are always discolored. Meaning the strips are no longer black, mostly light brown almost indistinguishable to the yellow background of the fish body
Datnoids change color pretty regularly. Mine goes from light brown stripes to black all the time. When I feed, he colors right up and comes right up to the glass. When he’s hiding, he usually lightens up.
