I got 4 Geophagus Altifrons a couple days ago, and this morning two of them are belly-up. They're still breathing, and one is still trying to swim, but the other seems to have given up. ):
Tankmates include the other two Geo's I got, who (so far) seem to be fine, another Geo Altifron that's a few months older, one Geo. Jurupari(still small), two juvi Delhezi Bichirs, and a red tail black shark. 100 gallon aquarium...
I'm doing a water change in hopes that it'll help, but I doubt it...

So, any ideas why this is happening? I have never had a fish die in this tank before. ):

Your gonna have to test for ammonia, nitrite and pH
and it might be an oxygen problem? idk

Agreed, I just had an Altifron die on me too. I had a test kit though and Nitrite and Ammonia was zero so I ruled out water conidtions. However with multiple fish dying there IS a problem.

My filtration is an AC 110 which I know will need to be upgraded eventually, but for now it's fine while they're all babies.
I'm now down to 1 dead and 1 dying ): I'm really upset, especially because I saved for months for these fish, and the store owner can only give me half credit for the dead ones.

Turns out the foster dog will be brought to me, so I have 45 minutes, which means time to track down my test kit...

Well, my best guess is that my housekeepers did something to my test kit. It was scattered around my room(including under my bed?!) and the last time I saw it, everything was together. I also no longer have the instruction papers.
This is everything I could find.

Of course, the most important one is missing, nitrate bottle 2...this is the worst day ever. ):
