I recently bought 3 indo's and sold one, so now I have 2. Even when I had three, they were really inactive. Very territorial and wouldn't let another invade their space. this isn't what I had in mind when i saw pictures of groups of indo dats in tank actively roaming around.

They are 4" dats in a 75g tank, so tank space isn't an issue for another 3-4 years.

My water parameters are great, if you wanna see details here they are.
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 20

What could be the possible reasons they are not as active as they should be?

My small IT's are pretty inactive also. Dats do hide alot.

Are they stable?

also what is your PH lvl?

Tank mates?

two 4" indo dats
one 4" flagtail prochilodus
two 6" delhezi bichirs
one 4" senegal bichir.

The ph the last time i checked, was 7.6?

Their stability goes on and off, but I have one that becomes stable more often then the other, and when he does, its fu_ckin beautiful!

shouldnt have sold the 3rd one 2 tigers the same size will fight alday long

and if you have lots of hideing places they will use them

either lose one of them or get some more imo, i had 2 2'' indos all by themselves in a 106gal tank and they hated each other and only stayed in one place all the time on opposite corners of the tank.
now with 1 indo and loads other fish it swims all over.
now in my 180 i only have 2 datnoids in it and they are not too active since i removed the other 2.
