So i have been curious to why the wild import market has crashed so heavly and why are many of the larger vendors/importers are slowly disappearing? I love this hobby but its getting almost impossible to shop for many of the rarer exotics that used to be around all the time. Like for instance large rhoms, there used to usually always be a huge rhom forsale for $1000-$2000. Now there is no piranha selection available anywhere. I know that they are seasonal like tigerfish and many others. But it seams like that they have put the hammer down on something . I have been pretty bummed over sharkaquarium and at least aquascape seems to still be solid, but when you sit back and recces this whole market. Who else is there to turn too anymore. I feel like all thats gonna be left anymore are cichlids and tetras ( Well the ray market still seems nice and strong, Arowana's seem there on a dip in the charts). I don't want to sound so hopeless, but honestly where do we turn to find more stock lists cause the normal ones that usually had the market are growing smaller. Really want to hear thoughts on this issue and what can be down about it with out offensive or leaving snide comments.
