why are my fish killing each other
tank did consist of
20 roselines 10 brilliant rasboras 10 diamond tetras and some flying foxes kuhli loaches
now im down to about 12 roselines 8 rasboras and 9 diamonds

125 planted with 3 filters 2 are marineland 350 1 is a top fin 60
H.O. lighting
feed NLS daily with frozen food treats

there is no rime or reason for there deaths. water is fine. they don't die after certain foods, water changes, new entrys (when added), no temp change nothing.

If anyone is doing any killing in your tank, it would be the flying fox. Those fish and their close relatives are highly territorial and can be very aggressive to other peaceful fish in the tank.

Your tank is very similar to mine. 125 gallon heavily planted community tank, except my fishes are fine. How long was the tank up and running for? Did you got the fishes at a reputable store? Temperature of the tank? How often do you do water changes, and do you add any conditioners?

fish for 7+ months (in a 90 for 1 month) no killings
moved to the 125 (been in there for 6 months)
i have so many roselines because i have read they do good in groups and in the wild they travel in schools.
the sub straight is eco complete (black) and black aquarium gravel

Water change routine? and water test results? How deep is your substrate? tbh I doubt it's the fish killing eachother. sounds like either a water quality issue, or bacterial/fungal. where did the fish come from? sadly a few monthes ago I picked up a few fish from major chain and had a very nasty bacterial infection destroy my planted tank... it was alot like neon disease... almost not signs and fish just started dropping over like flies ( ended up lossing almost 3/4 of my tank) even if your flying foxes aren't true flying foxes ( usually they are not) fast schooling fish aren't liekly to get attacked.. and since it's a variety getting hammered.. yeah I seriousely doubt aggression is your culprit.
