i have a small piece of pvc pipe in a bin with some sand and floating plants and a female with a lot of eggs and a male (note the male is a lot smaller than the female) with a tube for air. The tank is around 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The female is in the pvc pipe, but I’m not seeing the male do much, I hear the male and female go in the pipe where the female lays it’s eggs and then leaves and the male guards them until they hatch. Is something wrong here?
