My brown knife that i had for two years died last week. I noticed that its eyes looked whkt hazed. I treated my tank with some meds that was to get rid of eye cloud. After i treated my tank two days later RIP brown knife. Is eye cloud that deadly to fish???

did you use meds that are safe for scaleless fish, and dose it specifically for those species?

Yes i did use meds safe for scaleless fish bc i have several others that r scaleless and no it didnt specify for the species

Cloudy eyes are often signs of poor water quality, hard to say but may have been over medication, ammonia poisoning, nitrite poisoning, or disease. Knives ime are delicate species and usually the first effected by negative effects to a tank.

ok, then try asking your question in the Freshwater Diseases and Health Issues section.
They'll want more info on symptoms and your tank/water parameters etc.
Since you had the knife for 2 yrs, consider what difference may have occurred in that tank before illness.
sorry, I'm not experienced with cloudy eye.
IME, scaleless fish go downhill faster than others, and clean water is very important.
Sorry for your loss.

This is probably a long shot since your tank has been set up for a couple of years but is there any chance you put in water with chloramine?

Edit...without treating it?
