So I wake up this morning and one of my africans was dead. Had him about two years. The day before he was swimming around happily. The night before I was setting up my new tank next to it. I slid his tank over a couple times to get it out of the way. There was alot of movement and vibrations around the tank because we were carrying everything in the house and pretty much having a small party last night. I'm thinking it just may be stress. Hopefully when I get home the other fish are ok. :(

slid his tank over ? How big is it ?

< 20G I would guess, moved a 10 Gallon full of water and fish, and was like dang this sucks. I managed to moved the stand and full tank on my 29G bio cube about 2 inchs. But I had to do something super dumb that no one should ever do and I shouldn't do it again. I had to basicly bump it with all my body weight, I still get chills thinking of the certain disaster God allowed me to avoid. I could't imagine moving a tank bigger then 20 gallons safely, I had to people try to help me slid my 55 gallon just like 1 inch, and we couldn't do it.

it may have stressed teh fish but I doubt it stressed enough to die ... next time you need to move your tank do a water change and take out some water ... and then get help from some big stronger people your lucky your tank did not bust and slice you up for real .... but as far as the fish do not feel bad the fish was 2 years old ... who knows how old he was when you got t so it was maybe old age , in this hobby we always learning new tricks and tips and learning how to make this hobby easier just stay calm and relax and learn we all make mistakes we are only human

O btw a good little bit of info I forgot to mention is a 10 gallon tank full of water rocks and decor might as well say its 100 lbs so a 20 gallon is 200 quite a bit of weight huh lol
