i dont know bro .... varanus resigeri is one of my favs along with v. macraei and v. prasinus.... it would be like having skittles colored monitors...

to be honest, i don't know what you're talking about. :D

I just know that they are awesome looking montiors, and small to boot. If I could, i'd make a nice big cage full of branches for it. (they are tree montiors, right?)
 
those are their scientific names... and yes they are tree monitors...
 
I had a pair of green tree monitors. They were a nightmare. They were very active and needed a HUGE cage (I ended up building a 6x4x8 monstrosity). Forget about handling as they bit like it was going out of style. Any tank maintenence meant scratches or bites. Definetly a show herp, not one for the kids. Now my argus monitor...that was a joy to own.

they still sound cool. a bit pricey, though... 2,500 dollars is a lot. I think i'll stick to a savannah.... they're big, but at least you can tame them.
 
they are pricey thats for sure... but theyre awesome animals. Tainted thats too bad you had a bad experience with them.. I found mine to be quite docile and would climb up my arm to eat their food.
