I've bought some angelfish over the past couple years. They are bought as little ones. They look fine and healthy. When they get to adult size then they die.

I've noticed on some of the white ones that have died in the past along the edge of their body it turns red like you can see blood right in that area.

I've never had any issues with water parameters. Do you think they're just getting picked on and stress out and die? I had to remove an angelfish that was bullying once.

What you are discribing sounds like Hemorrhagic Septicemia.

What else is in the tank? What are your water preamiters? What is your maintanence schedule? What are you feeding? What quarinteen procedures do you use when introducing new fish? Give more specifics so we can give you the help you need.

I just saw this post is from March............... Well this info is good for new commers to see anyway.

Are the in to small of a tank? Angels need a huge tank otherwise they won't get bigger but their insides will.
