Why do they always lay eggs on the filter lift tube? There's driftwood, slate, inverted flower pots, and even some sword plants. But they always like the filter.

Mine do the very same thing..regardless of what I try they always go back to the lift tube

I tend to believe they like the water flow around the lift tubes better, mine always seem to use nice broad amazon sword leaves.

because i believe they like laying there eggs on vertical things. if you can put the filter tube horizon they'll stop laying eggs on it.

As I type my Large black angels that I bought from the KW auction are laying eggs. They are in a community 112 gallon -5 ft tank. They have layed on a Ozelot sword leaf. Any recommendations would be great. I have aquariums for their beauty and I am not up techniques on raising fish.
