It is interesting that none of my CK's and Florida gar and other fish can stand scallops. My little silver just gobbles them up. I don't think an aro would eat a mollusc in the wild. Do they ever eat snails and why would they like scallops?

aro's like food, its simple. its like asking why would a white man eat asian food, if asians were never introduced to america and brought over the food we never woulda ate it normally but since they came n we tried it we end up liking it. or i do anyways. aros will eat anything tasty, even tho they never woulda saw it in the wild. my smaller silver will eat anything but pellets. he see's no visual taste aspect in them

Ya my silver loves them, I stick 3 or 4 pellets inside the scallop this is the only way my aro gets any pellets.
