why do most hybrid rays well black rays mainly have messy spots not nice round ones like the adults

i see henxleo hybrids and they all have the messy spots

you would think you would get some pups that look like the mother and some like the father like with most amimals

but we get the random crazy paturns

Very true they always seem to start eating and doing fine much earlier then pure pups.

i have 1 with messy spots and one with solid spots. ive seen alot of leo/hen with solid spots....
