Why Do You Love IT Dat so Much?

I love all dats, and have been fascinated by them from the very beginning of my monster fish keeping journey. I totally disagree on the not very active fish part. I find them very active and very smart like peacock bass in where they come out for feeding times. I agree they are not the easiest fish to keep (seeing that A LOT of these little guys die), but they are very hardy just like any other fish if kept under good conditions.
I personally like how they look, the gold scales from their personality to their fascinating features or image.

Dats are very easy to keep and very active. You just need about 5-6 or more 
I have 22 large dats ranging from 8-9" to 16-17". The IT's are about 9" - 14". I dropped 4 lbs of chopped smelt and I kid you not between the dats and 3 aros, some seldom made it to the bottom for the tigrinus, rays and AUL

I like dats because:
They are worth a ton when full grown
They are active
Each has their own unique pattern
fun to feed
fun to grow out
and the list goes on.

i love datnoids because:
they are one of my favorite fish.
love thier patterns.
and very attractive.
but the thing i hate about them is they hide to much and they grow to slow lol

to tell the truth its not IT i love its ST mainly because they are what most IT owners want from a tiger
nice dark black stripes
nice yellow coloured body
stable 24/7
you can get the above things from a IT but you stand a much higher chance with ST
things i dont like about TIGERS is people calling them DATS

Like pupumole said the way they look at you and the personality,and if you have a stable one then the colours too.
They are just great fish,simple as that
