I have a ruby red. The fish is about 2.5 inches long. Dunno if its male or female. But this guy is always moving my rocks n the tank. Mixing white and black. Dug all the way to the glass bottom in one of the caves. A spot about the size if a softball. And working on the other caves rocks. Also have another fish n there (not sure how to sp3ll it so not even trying) that's also about 2.5 inches and I don't know its sex either. Is this just something cichlids do? Its interesting to watch but ruined my tank layout

i agee, they prefure to design their tank how they want it. doesnt matter how much time and effort you put into it. good luck
