Arowana are skittish fish, care should be taken to not spook them. Also tanks should be set up so the arowana does not hurt itself if spooked. Arowana tend to spazz out more frequently in cramped tanks, so lots of room to move is important.
all sharp edges of the glass are covered in split hose pipe he doesnt do it often n doesnt seem to hurt himself just rips out plants n makes a mess lol. currently in the process of a 8x4x2 ply build. parents said i can keep it in the room with the parrots as long as its sealed n the parrots dont attack fish or fish doesnt eat parrots lol

lol read that thread was quite amusing. still i doubt it done a macaw. however these are african greys so slightly smaller. not that i would consider even leaving the lid off lol
