Hey everyone, anyone else notice that their 1$ fish are always the first to the food... First to sit at the glass but their $50 (sorry i have one of my tanks in mind, not the most expensive i have but it's just to make a point) fancy Pleco hasn't been seen or noticed since the day you dropped it in the tank

Example... In my living room tank

Guppies 1$ each - all over the tank
Cory's 5$ each can usually be found chillin in the bottom under some plants but visible
Kribensis 8-9$ each... Usually in the driftwood but not afraid to come out and say hi
Glass cats- 8-9$ each usually floating in a group near the plants... You will normally miss them if your not looking for them
Galaxy Pleco $50... Usually... I have no idea... Starving in a castle or something... I wanted him to clean up and to possibly see every so often... WRONG!!!

Anyway rant over now :)
I am sure you all will have some of your own rants regarding this type of behavior in your tanks... So have at it :-)

+1 to this,..Should've just bought bunch of goldfishes and called them monsters...

Added goldfishes(feeders) and they are grown and pulp..eating everything in sight(Shrimp,Fillet)
4 Gulpers, Hiding ALL Freaking DAY and at night, do donuts!!...If one comes out the others rush to get the "Wanderer" back to hiding..:irked:

Anyone know how to get them out more? Had them for over 4+ months..they still not comfortable?:screwy:
/rant haha was going to make a similar thread..Nice!

May not be the popular choice but I had a Bare tank with my gulpers an they quickly became friendly and personable (hand fed) before I got rid of them they where in a tank with plenty of places to hide but they hardly ever did... Always doing the endless swim near the output of the filters... Prob working off all the shrimp they ate lol

I don't so much have that problem with my fish but I do with my inverts. Drop 50 inverts in the tank and all I ever see is freakin snails. My fish are all super active and outgoing fish. My most expensive one was the most active in my case. But he got pinned under a rock. :(

Anyway - never see my monster shrimp. Drives me nuts!
