Why is my armatus turning green?

He sure does have a green tinge:/ he shoals from time to time with the tarpon, perch and the 3 peacock bass i have there with him.

Why?

He looks great and that sounds awesome the green tinge! I would think its lighting and reflection angles. Maybe some of the legends will know more.

I have 3 housed together ranging in size from 11-13". 2 have minimal yellow/green but the 3rd has much more. I also notice that it has a slightly different shape, seems taller but not as elongated. Wouldnt even notice except I have the other two I can directly compare to.

It depends on your substrate color. My substrate is black and mine are a lot darker.

That's typical at such size. It's gold to someone, green to others
