Why is my DIY co2 producer not working?

Ok so I am doing the 2L soda bottle thing, with 2 cup of sugar, 3 tbsp of yeast, 2 tbsp of molasses, this usually starts up right away but this time it isn't. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Also the cap is sealed with hot glue.

old yeast? they tested some on cooks county and even older yeast within the expiration date was not as good as a newly bought package.
