I recently bought a baby flowerhorn, its 2 inches big. I tried feeding him Hikari cichlid gold mini pellets. But he never eats them. But when i throw some mealworms in the tank for the silver arowana, it quickly eats it, but i want to train both of them to eat pellets. Should i just starve the flowerhorn for a day and try again? (usually i put foodsticks and cichilid gold into the tank for the silver aro and flowerhorn, but only the aro eats the foodsticks)

my fish can go for a week with out food, so yea, try starving it a couple of days and see what happens
If you want them to eat pellets, starve them for two days and drop one pellet in it if they take it. If they don't try it again in two days. Once they start taking them, gradually give them more pellets.
Agreed wait a couple of days and offer a single pellet and thats all you offer them. They can last for awhile without eating so dont feel bad just have to have stronger will then the fish.
