Why is my red Oscar purple

Please help me identify what color morph my Oscar is at my local fish store they said it was a red Oscar
but its purple

it is wild caught and it was red at the beginning but now when you shine a bright light on him he is metallic purple

It is not a true red Oscar The pet shop just named it a red Oscar because it has a red tint to it
