Figured the thread title would get some attention, :). I haven't been posting as frequently as I have been busy with Christmas and all, but I have a question. My creek chub-semotilus atromaculatus are acting funny. It can't be breeding behavior, cause that's in early summer, it can't be water parameters either because they are perfectly fine. Its only happening with the two biggest ones, and I don't think aggression is the problem either. Since they have been put in, a pecking order has been established. They each know they're place and (this Is cool) feed in different orders. A little squabble might happen every once in a while but nothing serious, as the only thing they are aggressive to is me. The biggest one bit my pinky finger once and it rather hurt! The tank size is fine, as there are four in a 15 gal. The biggest one is about 1.5 inches, and is going to get moved to my 40 gallon soon. They are the only thing in there other than some large salamander larva that I only ever see when I rearrange stuff and feed. The reason im worried is because they are absolutely FLYING around that tank, knocking snails off, and dislodging ludwigia. They haven't ever acted like this before. Any ideas why??
