Bacterial Bloom??? Algae Bloom?? maybe it is cycling again I dont know. I am very pissed off because i did a 50% water change 3 days ago and nothing it has not cleared up yet... I had algae bloom in the past and I was able to clear the water in 3 days. I also had cloudy water when i first started to cycle my tank but my tank has been up for 7 months. Or it could it be this about a month ago i decided to go from sand to gravel and took out all the sand and at the same time did a 75% water change and added a new filter. Anyhow this has been almost 5 weeks and no signs of clearing. Also in one of my filters I added a bag of ammonia remover.. Could that be the problem??

my tank parameters are
PH 6.0
nitrite 0 PPM
Nitrate 80 PPM
Ammonia 0 PPM

So my nitrate is high but everything else is perfect.. So i guess i am safe to say the fish are fine as long as my nitrite and ammonia are at 0.
What can i do??
I want my water clear again

The first 2 pics are of the tank now and the last one of my tanks 3 months ago with sand <<< and thats how i want my water look again HELP PLEASE

Looks bacterial.
You could try adding purigen. I also wouldn't use any ammonia adsorbtion resins, as they're not necessary.

Did you rinse your gravel before putting it in?
I suppose you did, but if you didn't, and it's not bacterial it will clear up with some more WC.

If all else fails .... UV :) (Oh and id throw out the ammonia remover.... Use prime and water changes as a band aid to grow a strong bacteria bed)

It takes a lot of bacteria to colonize all that gravel surface area. It wasnt an issue with the sand. If you're at 0 ammo, I would take out the ammonia absorber so your BB dont crash. If you starve them of ammonia, they will die & you get to start this all over again. Just keep up the WC's & maybe add a powerhead to increase circulation. Even better would be a powerhead with pre-filter to catch all those bacteria & get them out of the water column.

I'd get a handle on that nitrate. With it that high after all the water you just changed it must've been really high before that.

I always think its ok do do massive water changes as long as temp does not drop too much or too often . I sometimes do a change that drops water temp a bit then cichlids often breed soon after . so maybe just change water till clear
