I've had two eheim filters. The first one spring a leak and I replaced it by sending it back. The one I have now has seemingly been working well, but it's been running for about 3 months so I unplugged it, and flushed it into the sink with treated water. After I set it back up, it was spraying well out of the spray bar. Then when i went to close the stand doors something was sticking out, so i rotated the canister about 15 degrees. There was a whoosing noise and then pressure was reduced in a couple of the holes. I want all my flow back. What did I do wrong? I hope somebody can help, I am not very pleased with this filter thus far.

wow it's rare to see someone with problems with ehiem filters.... (german made= the best nuff said)

i'm not really a canister filter expert but maybe when you shifted it the lid came loose (a very little bit) and now it's sucking a tiny bit of air and so theres less water it's actualy pushing out

that's my geuss and frankly the only thing that comes to mind

That's just air. Simply rock the canister back&forth a bit to get it all out. Chances are by the time you read this the problem has already disappeared :)
