WHY my peacock Bass not colour up??

Hi everyone, I have this little one about 2 months
The size of the bass have growth lots
But I find my Bass still looks so pearl ??
How can I increase the body colour green or yellow
And can anyone ID my bass please
I have fed bloodworm and Krill twice a week
But can't see any improvment

Is it the only fish in the aquarium?
How big is the PBass?
Lighting can affect color.

There will be a pecking order among the Cichlids for dominance so it could be a factor.

The white rocks aren't really helping. Having tan or darker substrate will help. You should see more color around 6-7", whether more yellow etc.

Your fish looks like a hybrid of some sort. Get you fish on pellets and it will start to color up. Once they hit 7” they start showing Adult coloring.

Give it more time, Hybrids tend to not have great colors not all but most just don’t. Also some farmies, F2 and further down the line seem to have less coloration. Good luck with your bass it’s a fun to see how they turn out btw it looks kind of like a xingu, I had one that was pretty white like yours (washed out colors) until it put on some size.
