Are they trying to make a super ray from trying to cross rays?:screwy:

Just like the flower horn in your pic, everyone wants something different. It is man's obsession to tinker with mother nature good or bad.

Yeh you can make some nice hybrids with rays but just depends on ur luck and quality of rays you breed...

X3 lol...that and most people don't like to keep 1 species of rays in their tank (at least I think)...and then one day they find out one of their rays is pregnant and then pops out some hybrids lol

The flowerhorn in your avatar is more of a mutt fish than these hybrid rays are

Saddly this is going to be the case moving forward. Pure bred rays from asia are very hard to come by now we will have mutt rays soon.

Flowerhorn. hahaha pwned

The 1st reason is already answered by FishDog...

IMHO, the other reasons are..... Rays are relatively easy to breed, and even hobbyists with sizable collection can do it..... But for hobbyist, not everyone just keep 1 species in quantity. Usually a mixed bag....

I may be wrong....
