Price hasent risen on silvers, just jardini is what I am talking about. The same place had silvers for $30 at 7-8 inches
$70-$80 is for certain a rip off with silvers.

I remember getting 3" jars retail for $20 a few years ago. Now wholesale on the 3" around here is $70. No one wants to bring them in as they cost to much. Just the bigger ones 6" or so for about $200 retail.

Wow! So basically from what I understand the cost of importing outweighs the cost of the old prices so they had to bump the prices up to make any profit? Is that what it is?

Lousy guess! There's no lack in supply or there's no rising in demand for Jardini. It's just the cost of importing them from Australia dictates the retail cost

Well the ones I have are bred in indonesia. I asked the guy at the LFS this time and he said they were from asia. I'm sure they seldom come from Australia anymore. They are mostly bred now.

If they're bred in Indonesia or came from Asia, then the price wouldn't go up...
