1 Need more live food

2 sexing these fish by looking at them is hard and only when fully grown can you get an idea , so you have to wait for them to decide on the mate of their choiceyou need 6 fish one tank.

3 They prefer soft, acidic water, but they are successfully kept and bred in an a array of water conditions.

4 Angels do best in warmer water 82 and 85

5 they require a vertical surfaces to lay their eggs i used to use a pieces of slate

Angels are pretty easy to breed they just need to be healthy have clean water and a good diet.(lots of live food) when they get the hang of it you will not stop them

i bought themas a pair how soft dose the water have to be , and what other kinds of food r there

there r 6 in from top to bottom and they r 3 years old but i got a deal on them 30 with some slate on heater for a 75 and a heater for a 20 did i get riped off

Just a note about ph. My one and only pair of angels have been laying eggs like clockwork every two weeks in aged water that is 7.4 ph. Something more in the nuetral or acid range would likely be better to induce spawning but is not required. The asst. catfish in the same tank love the caviar.

getting on a bit but then again all down to if they breed

Getting on a bit / 3 years old quite old

then again all down to if they breed / did i get riped off

the fish are quite old and you only got riped off if they dont breed:thumbsup:

I still prefer the put 6 in a tank and let them pair off then take the pair out.

HI. 3 years is still okay although they are a bit older. Also you should try feeding the earth worms. Mine accept them although it is not clean to feed them that. try to change 2 liters of water everyday. it will change quite a bit of difference too. buy or make 2 plastic slate and put them in the tank so then if they spawn, you can take the egg slate and the other slate will be their next breeding slate. some angels won't do that unless you have the slate at the same place. they are really picky too.

If you want them to be proud of ur self breeding them and growing them up. buy 6 and grow them up, BUT tryto buy all 6 at different places. the reason is that you don't want interbreed. cause its just like us humen. we don't want to breed with our sisters or mother do we??? so try to buy them in different places if you can possibly do that.

TY for reading I hope this helps you.
