I have two males and one female in a 150g. Both males are about 6" and one of them has a really large n-hump the other one a little smaller. The female is about 5" and they seem like they are old enough. I do a 40-50% water change weekly and feed them very well. I normally keep the temp around 82-84 but did a cold water change and kept the temp at 71 now.

What am I doing wrong? Is there something else I can do to get them started? The bigger male chases the female once in awhile but 99% of the time ignores her.

Im not sure but I think 71 degrees is kind of low so maybe try bumpin the temp to 78 or 79...you can also try getting rid of the weaker male and replace with another female the same size but sooner or later nature will take its course...any pics?

Adding taget fish such as 3 dozen Cardinal Tetra will make them "couple" more and paractice territory.........Adding a whole bunck of large clay pots to the tank will help reiforce the "privacy" that caves give to them.............They love to lay eggs inside the sides of the clat pots and then fry just fall onto to the smooth surface of the clay...........Adding blackwater extract made by kepa leaves also adds a "sttimulus" to the chemical of the water.............Leave the temp at 78-82 degrees...............Remain at 50% water changes...............

Also if none if that doesn't work try leaving the tank alone for two or three weeks without any water changes. Sometimes the frequent water changes disrupts them, at least that's what happened to me.

I agree with either switching the less dominant male with another female or add a couple more females to the current setup

I have a breeding group of terrors and the ratio is 2 males to 4 females and it seems to work well
