why wont my JD breed anymore ?

i have two jd's that have breed two or three times already, but now we cant get em to breed anymore <br><br>not like anything is really different other then a few more fish in the tank then there was before, and the male is also a bit bigger then the female is now, i wanna get them to breed at least one or two more times if not more if i can, great homebrew feeders for my big guys <br><br>anyone have any tips or helping hand to get em "started' and in the mood lol

well they bred in the same tank with all them fish in there before, now the male stay i the flower pot, and the female stay on other side of the tank under the rock caves and they dont hang around one another anymore ?....

same species that were in there before, and everyone is tiny compared to the JD's

I don't really give too much of a damn because if anyone were to know about what I keep in my tank I'll be grilled as well. I just need to know your stock to help you with the problem at hand.

75gallon, 2 yellow labs, 2 morri dolphins, 3 convicts, 3 venusta haps, rainbow coloured african 9dont know his actual name), 2 gold severums, 1 chinese algea eater, 1 common pleco, ... the new ones that have been added since they stopped breeding are the rainbow colour guy, severums, 3 haps, 1 dolphin, 3 convicts, 1 lab... like i said they havent bred in quite awhile now

Ah, hm well it's possible that the previous inhabitants disturbed their breeding, usually a pair of cichlids will keep on producing fry, but when stressed they may forget about it. Could it be possible that they're being bullied?

Lol oh no way I doubt they get bullied, both JD are 6-7" and everyone else aint any bigger then 4"

Im into breeding Jacks as well, and obviously you could ask 10 different people and get 10 different awnsers. What I do though is have multiple females in the tank with my males so they have options. I have had pairs just stop breeding only to have a male start breeding with another female. Its kinda like being married and being with your wife so many times every now and again its nice for a change up!
