i have a discuss plant and iv had it for a few months, it hasnt grown any taller sence i bought it and all it dose is sprougt a few leaves and then they dont grow up ?
whats the problem, or what am i doing wrong?

Improper lighting is most likely the cause. Most lights that come with the typical aquarium setup are not strong enough to grow plants properly. You may be able to grow low light plants with them, but a lot of plants require higher lighting.

those are plastic! your talking about that one sword plant in the middle. The light seems bright maybe try placing a plant tab into the gravel. Don't need a bunch just 1 near the roots. If you get some more live plants you could add more root tabs. Sword plant are a Rosette type plant they don't grow stems so when they grow there sword leaves they will get longer as the plant grows.

They are a type of tablet fertilizer for plants, that you place under to the roots of said plant, hence the name "root tabs"

seachem flourish root tabs are little pricey but will do the job. Also swords like iron, but the root tabs should cover you.
