well i have kind of a funny story, my buddy whom shall be kept nameless. decided to buy a 75 gal tank because he really liked mine. on a side note he had never kept fish before. anyway i told him i would help him set it up, well he got a little impatient, first he added the water in the tank and hooked up the filter and the heater before addind the substrate. next mistake he bought his rocks from home depot and just dropped them in UNWASHED............heres what happened:ROFL:

thank god there were no fish in there

thats me in the pic trying to figure at what to do next................all is well now with his tank but it was a long day

I guess you have to get all the water out and refill it right? Those home river rocks or any rocks from home depot are filthy and they need a very long washing/scrubbing.

yeah we had to completly empty the tank take out all the rock wash them and put them back in refill the tank..lots of hard work that could have been avoided.....................the real funny part to me is put about 10 neon tetras, 5 glow light tetras and 2corys in his 75gal.......lol those to me are feeders
